Submitting Your ResumePEI welcomes you to submit your resume for consideration with any of our current job openings. Each job listed will provide a link in the job description, which allows you to apply for a specific job by sending a copy of your resume via e-mail. General resumes submission are also accepted via any of the following methods:
General Resume GuidelinesThe preferred and most accurate method for resume submission is via e-mail. Your resume should include very explicit details on your education, training, technical skills and your chronological work history. Remember to be very specific and list the names of all software, tools, technologies and platforms that you have experience with. When describing your work history, avoid describing the company or project at great length and focus on explaining what your responsibilities, contributions and achievements were and what skills you used. Any work history beyond 10 years should be very briefly summarized. Resume ProcessingWhen PEI receives a resume, it is stripped of all formatting, converted to plain text and stored in a searchable resume database. PEI's recruiters perform complex queries against this resume database to locate, contact, interview and qualify candidates for a specific job. Qualified candidates then have their resumes converted into a standard resume format and submitted to PEI's clients for final evaluation and interviewing. Resume Submission GuidelinesResumes via E-MailResumes sent via e-mail are the preferred and most accurate method available. Include your resume in the body of the e-mail or as a file attachment in plain text (.TXT) or Microsoft Word (.DOC) format and avoid the use of tables. While other attachment formats are acceptable (.HTM, .PDF, .RTF, .WPD, .WPS, .ZIP, etc.), they may cause delays in processing. Resumes via Facsimile or MailAll hardcopy resumes will be OCR'd (Optical Character Recognition), so please avoid fancy fonts and avoid use of italics and underlines. Best fonts to use are "Arial" or "Times New Roman" at a point size of 10 or 12. Also avoid multi-column format, use of tables or shading. |
